Cubs vs Orioles

(Jen) Last stop Chicago!! I love Sunday afternoon games! What a way to end our trip. A beautiful sunny day at Wrigley Field. We drove from Indianapolis and went straight to a (FREE!) shuttle service to the game....leave it to Craig!! Super great way to get to the game since it is chaotic and expensive by the ballpark!! Had a great time at the game! Especially the free souvenir sodas from the designated driver booth!! Usually it's the smallest one possible....not here! Love it!
After the game we still weren't sure where we were going to stay.....so we drove home! Long drive but we didn't want to haul our stuff into another hotel. Plus, we were ready to get home! It was late, but I knew I would be glad when I woke up at home the next morning.....pulled in the drive about 2:00am!!
Great to be home...but what a FANTASTIC week! So much fun to spend time together....sightseeing, driving across the country, experiencing new cities, and watching a lot of baseball!! We packed a lot into 11 days!!

Colts vs Saints

(Jen taking over on this one-Katelynn is watching a movie!) We thought it would be fun to add in a little football. Preseason Colts. The stadium is huge!!!! Our hotel connected to the Convention Center which is connected to Lucas Oil Stadium. This was good as we were in the middle of a thunderstorm! You can't bring a purse or bag, so that was really weird to not have anything....but kind of nice! You can buy a clear bag or use a ziplock....and they were enforcing! I saw 3 people get turned away. Then we had to get a full body scan!! It was a crazy atmosphere! The roof was closed...it would be fun to see it open! The starters played the first half. Colts lost. We had a nice walk back to hotel outside!

Indianapolis Indians vs Toledo Mud Hens

After swimming in the rain, we drove to Indianapolis. When we got there we took the skyway to the mall and got some fro yo. Then we came back to the hotel and played for a little bit. Then we decided to walk across the street for the AAA baseball game. It was very hot at the start of the game. We sat on the grass in the outfield and it turned out to be a beautiful night. After the Indianapolis Indians won, there were fireworks! After the fireworks, we went back to the hotel.

P.s Go to the picture of me sticking my tongue out and look in the top left corner!

NCAA Hall of Champions

We had a quick tour of the NCAA museum. We learned a little bit about all the different sports and there was even a basketball court we could shoot on!

Indiana State Museum

We left our hotel in the hot and humid weather to the Indiana State Museum. We learned about the ice age, the earth, and the Indian history. The first level was about the ice age and the earth. The second level was about the Indians and more modern things.

Reds vs Braves

We walked to the game from the tower. We sat up really high. A bird came flying past us and I didn't like that. I liked the background at the field. Austin and I got to get helmet sundaes.
